Wheat, Weeds & Willows

finding Him in the everyday

The Journey Begins Here

Among the calm and the chaos let’s chase after Him together!

Hey friends!

Well here we are, back with a blank page and some words on my heart. Of course there are the million questions pouring through my brain as I sit here and wonder… will anyone even read this or care. You know what, it truly doesn’t matter because I’m following after what God has led me to do. So faithfully and with wild curiosity as to what He is going to do, I choose to follow Him…again. You see several years ago a blog with this same name and similar purpose existed but the me who was behind the page was completely different. I was seeking validation from a world of opinions and views that just don’t matter.

Don’t get me wrong, I want people to read this blog. But now I’m at a season in my life where more than ever I want people to grow and learn to glow for the glory of God. I want people to love the sprinkled in chaos of a life spent building your dream with those you love and cherish. I want people to experience the good, the bad and the beauty of a life spent sold out for Him. I want to get to know the people on the other side of the screen in a way that grows both of our faith. I want to honor my God in all that happens here. It’s different. It feels different. So without an ounce of knowing where this will take us, let’s begin a journey into a world of wheat, weeds and willows. I pray that this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Grab your favorite coffee (an iced pumpkin cinnamon roll works for me) or drink of choice and let’s take a step into the unknown. I believe in the beauty of a new season so join me here each week as we unfold what He has for us.
