Hey friend!
So let’s start at the beginning. My name is Robyn and I have been married to Chris, my high school sweetheart, for 23 years. We have two awesome kids. Our son Hayden is 19 and our daughter Addy is 16. I have been chasing after Jesus since August 2, 2005 and while there have definitely been some ups and downs it stands as by far the best decision of my life. My husband is the pastor of our church, RAD Chrch that we planted a little over 3 years ago. We also produce a weekly podcast you can check out called RADLIFE with Chris & Robyn. Our life is a constant cycle of calm and chaos and I can’t wait to share all the things with you!
A New Season
You keep reading that this is a new season for WWW and I’m sure some of you are curious as to why it’s not just a new beginning all together. You see, I started blogging in 2014… over 10 years ago! I was a ministry wife and blogged about life figuring out that new role. A few years after that I began the first edition I guess you could say of Wheat, Weeds & Willows. For about 3 years I fought to try and keep it alive but I sank into my fears and let the enemy have control.

For the past 2 years I have been on a spiritual journey of seeking the Lord and figuring out my purpose here on Earth. Through praying and fasting I have poured out my tears trying to land on the firm foundation of my calling in Christ. Even though the fears are still there and the doubts try to barge in I know that I know that I know this is where God wants me. Right here with you every week as we dive into all the things that fill our lives with chaos, curiosity and joy!
The Parable
The parable that started it all…
“Here is another story Jesus told: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field. But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat, then slipped away. When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew. “The farmer’s workers went to him and said, ‘Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’ “‘An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed. “‘Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked. “‘No,’ he replied, ‘you’ll uproot the wheat if you do. Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.’” ~Matthew 13: 24-30
Ohhh how I long to be in the safety of my Father’s barn! Thank you for being here my friend!
