finding Him in the everyday

The War is Constantly Raging

I’m writing this today from the battlefield. The battle over my mind is raging and the war is real. I’ll be honest…its a struggle. I haven’t written on this blog in two weeks because I let the pure realization that no one reads it overtake my purpose and reasoning behind why I’m doing it in the first place and that is for God and God alone. How He chooses to use it is not up to me. I’m just called to be faithful and obedient. So I’m going to make this my weekly coffee chat and when He gives me a devo then I’ll share that as well.

The Battle is Real

These past few weeks have been seemingly busy. With the holidays literally next week it feels like time is swirling around me and I’m just standing there motionless in the center. Why is that? I feel like I’m in a season where God is really waiting on me to move. So why now does it feel like I can’t even pick my feet up to take a step. Kind of a rhetorical question because I already know the answer. It’s because there is a real battle going on… it’s spiritual warfare. The enemy wants me motionless. He wants me stuck and all up in my feelings and for a few weeks I was giving in to it. However after recording our podcast this week that comes out today as well, (You should totally go give it a listen!) I am choosing to not let the enemy think he has won. I will no longer forsake the armor and will be prepped and prepared for the daily battle.

” Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can make your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground, and having done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness arrayed, and with your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition. To this end, stay alert with all perseverance in your prayers for all the saints. “ ~Ephesians 6:10-18

I’m not sure where you’re at today but can I tell you that God loves you and He see you when you are struggling. He knows when you feel weak and beat down. He is there and waiting for you to ask for help! I pray you take some time today to sit and soak in His presence. I’m praying for you friend. The battle was never meant to be fought alone… so know that you are not alone!

~ Until next time, grow and glow,
